Travel Convenience:
The BOB Ironman Stroller (like the BOB Revolution SE) has a uniquely designed two-step folding system. Just squeeze the handlebar release levers simultaneously and rotate the handlebar forward. Using a quick tug, lift the red frame-release handle while keeping the tires on the ground and the stroller will collapse forward to lay flat. Its just the best folding system we’ve seen.

Safety:
BOB is a high end brand for a reason: they design all strollers with safety as the first priority. BOB Ironman Single Stroller includes safety features such as:
  • a 5-point harness, keeping your child safely in the seat
  • a hand activated brake, for fast stopping even while running
  • a parking brake, which engages and releases with the step of your foot
  • a multi-position canopy with a large viewing window, which protects your child from the weather
  • a safety strap that ties to your hand and is anchored to the rear axle (bottom) of the stroller, instead of the top where most other strollers have it; this means even if you fall you won’t tip over the stroller, a very forward thinking design feature
  • this stroller meets or exceeds all ASTM standard
Mobility:
For a smooth ride a stroller with a suspension system is a must. The BOB Ironman Single Stroller has a 3″ suspension and three 16″ large wheels to go over heavy duty terrain. Plus the high-quality slick tires minimize rolling resistance while the stiffer suspension maximizes maneuverability and response. You will find the remarkable adjustable tracking system will keep your stroller straight on track with almost no swivel.

Note that this stroller does lose some maneuverability at the grocery store or on the street due to the front locked wheel (versus the BOB Revolution, which has the adjustable lock front wheel) but this jogging stroller is designed specifically for hard-core running and that’s where it excels in performance. For an all-around-stroller, we highly suggest the BOB Revolution SE.

Durability:
The BOB Ironman Single Stroller has a frame literally made from aircraft grade welded aluminum. It’s amazingly tough while still very lightweight. This stroller will last you through multiple kids and be a great pass down to your family members for generations to come!

All of the fabric is water and stain resistant . Additionally, the padded seat composes of closed cell foam which does not absorb liquid and odors like the open cell foam that most other strollers use. You’ll have the convenience of a low maintenance, clean stroller with no stains, mold or odors.
